As a designer and artist, you dream of attracting projects that match where you are in your professional and personal journey. Illustrating and helping Katherine Bird with her book, The Healer's Process, was exactly that. This powerful shamanic healer and visionary wanted to elevate her book and find support creating a complete work that felt special, like a piece of art. I read parts of this incredible book—visioning section illustrations and diagrams for the text, keeping the line work loose, raw, organic, and feeling "in-process," like the reader. I wanted to capture the transformative journey that she was taking the reader, and myself, on.
