A little bit about me…

Living as our most authentic selves is the key to life— sharing our unique, potent resonance with the world. That’s where the magic sauce is.

Art and creative expression have always been my North Star, a compass to lead me home. Creating gives me a feeling of freedom that’s transcendent and transformative— I’m passionate about giving this experience to others. By creating from our truest place, we have a sense of self that’s unshakable. Art has literally healed me, and put me back together many, many times.

I’ve walked many creative paths as an artist and designer. From studying studio art at UCSB, to going abroad to Tasmania, Australia— where the art school was in an old jam factory and I first called myself an Artist.

After graduating, I threw underground art show throws and painted late into the night, developing my visual language. In my mid20s, I got a job as an in-house graphic artist at an apparel company, working with a lot of well-known brands and stores. There I learned how to marry art and design, and communicate visually.

My 18 year professional creative journey has had a lot of off shoots and amazing experiences— large-scale projects and murals, mentoring teenage artists and teaching art with A.R.T.S. A Reason to Survive, facilitating art workshops I call “Healing Art Experiences,” and always keeping up my personal art and writing practice.

I’m inspired by the search within—cultivating more understanding, self love and acceptance, and how that shows up in our outer reality. The esoteric and mystical have always fluttered around the edges of our reality, and I find this moment in time so profoundly interesting and important because so many people are waking up to new possibilities. Our world is changing. I hope to help usher in this new way of being by healing with art, shedding the old and forming new connections with other heart centered souls.
