Self Song

I painted "Self Song" at a point in my healing journey where I was diving deep, looking fearlessly at what was uncovered. The hawk is such a potent symbol of messages and truth, and I lived on a canyon at the time. I would hear their cry piercing through the air, and see them soar, and just be speechless every time. It was such a powerful sign to keep going, to keep sharing my truth, keep uncovering my true self.
