My grandparents took me to a Frida Kahlo art show when I was around 10 years old… I remember very vividly walking around the halls alone, peering into this strange woman’s reality, and was incredibly moved. I was very aware that she created her own world. This inspired me to become an artist, and Frida Kahlo will always remain as my favorite. My grandparents bought me a little postcard which I still have which inspired this homage.
