Ladle Full of Love’s branding was inspired by the idea that “homemade soup is a feeling…” capturing the warmth and vibe of a 1970s Grandma’s kitchen and vintage wood plaque art. Owner Tina Pollycut’s treasured old wooden ladle served as a reference, adding a personal touch to the visual story.

Results

Tina’s recognizable branding is constantly praised for its unique, personal touch, which has cultivated a loyal local following and supported her expansion into three additional farmers markets and a local bakery.

“Janelle listened so carefully and thoughtfully to my ideas and really wanted to understand my vision and purpose with this business.  Through her attentive design process, she was able to articulate the precise look and feel that I imagined.”

Project Overview
Tina Pollycut, a lifelong soup lover, dreamed of creating a CSA-style service to deliver homemade soups made from fresh produce grown on her land in Shasta County. She envisioned a brand as personal and warm as her soups, connecting customers to the heart of her mission. To bring Tina’s vision to life, I developed a unique, handcrafted brand identity—including a logo set, color palette, brand typography, business cards, marketing materials, and booth signage. As her brand continues to grow, we’re redesigning her booth with new hand-drawn illustrations to showcase her latest products.
